Loma Vista Nursery offers a full product line of container and field grown plant material. Our 310 acre, wholesale container production facility is located in Ottawa, KS. We also have 650 acres south of Lawrence, KS for our in-ground tree farm.

Potted Trees

Our state-of the-art Pot-in-Pot production system allows for year round availability of trees from Seven (7) gallon to Thirty (30) gallon that are perfect for Garden Center and Wholesale customers alike. We take care, ensuring healthy root systems by using industry best management practices for Pot-in-Pot grown material.

Field Trees

If you are looking for larger, caliper trees, our field trees are produced in a high-quality clay-loam soil that is adaptable to many different areas. We target our harvest from 1 ½” to 3” and only dig during optimal times during the year in order to mitigate stress caused to field dug trees by root loss. We use optimal spade and right-size, or oversize root balls to ensure success of our field dug material.

Roses

We partner with the best brands in the industry to bring our customers the most flower power and disease resistance available. Loma Vista Nursery grows roses from the Drift® Groundcover Roses, The Knock Out® Family of Roses, the Oso Easy® Roses from Proven Winners, and introducing the Easy Elegance® Series of Roses to our line.

Loma Vista Nursery grows over 200 drought tolerant varieties, and we stage crops so you have bud bloom options year round. We also research what selections will have the longest bloom cycles and while proving to require the lowest maintenance. We grow from unrooted cuttings as much as possible to acclimate the liners to the midwest and help control the overall cost.
