That said, the lower cost makes it ideal for prototyping or experimental use, where minor material losses are more acceptable. It serves well as a learning or development-grade NAD+, allowing formulators to refine techniques without the financial pressure that often comes with high-purity, low-moisture NAD+ powders.

For those unfamiliar with the documentation abbreviations listed in the end of the product description section, abbreviations under the label “Documents” are:

SDS (Safety Data Sheet): Contains essential information about safe handling, storage, and potential hazards. This particular SDS also confirms that the product is rated for cosmetic use, whereas nowhere else (such as the description) does it mention its cosmetic grade quality.

CoA (Certificate of Analysis): Verifies the product’s identity and purity through lab testing, typically including assay percentages, appearance, and contaminant screening.

In summary, while not ideal for final or high-end formulations requiring optimal solubility and stability, this NAD+ is a great value for early-stage R&D, bulk processing experiments, or cost-sensitive applications.

I incorporated this into a formula I am testing with a vitamin E-rich oil and other natural exfoliants and it is super-lovely. I had excellent results after just one use. The walnut hulls add some depth and extra benefits to my exfoliant without the worry of environmentally damaging microbeads or irritants. Combined with the oil, my skin was glowing afterwards with zero irritation. It’s a keeper for me and I am sure most of my customers will love it!
