Anyone order from them? They seem to have really good prices on ex stuff.

36 packs (assuming loose pack boosters) of about 6 of the ex sets for under 70. They are also selling current modified boxes for about 80 – 85 dollars. (most sealed booster boxes in the ex series are at least 90 (close to 100)

Also has anyone had any luck with “loose pack booster boxes”?

As far as online buying is concerned, I like to refer to “loose pack booster boxes” as packs that have been weighed.

I bought LOTR cards off them – really quick turnaround and quick responses from customer service. Definitely recommend.

I would assume that means stay away?
I bought a great encounters box and it had no lv. x’s (although I got 4 candies, 5 uknown g’s ,etc.

I got this response.

These come from tins and returns from larger companies such as wal-mart,
target, etc.

We have no interest in searching packs in any way.

Thanks and take care,

Sounds interesting, I may try a box and see what happens.

There was someone a few yrs ago that I bought from like this and the packs were a good distribution. May have been sandstorms and I got plenty of RC.

What is local to you? Want to share where boxes are 70 – 75 per.

It’s a place about an 40 minutes away from where I live (in SoCal). I’m not sure if naming it would be considered advertising so I won’t name it. But I know that they don’t have any shipping options if that is what you’re wondering.

If you are trying to put sets together, your best bet will be sealed booster boxes simply because you should get less doubles. If you are just trying to get the most cards for your money and don’t care about doubles, then you shouldn’t have concerns in buying loose packs from Hill’s.

I gotta throw a warning out there about this place.

I’ve ordered a few times from them and occasionally they will send the wrong thing. When this happens, they don’t care. It’s happened to me and my old room mate. We contacted Hill’s, and all they could say was “The product we sent is the SKU you ordered. If the description differs, that is not our problem.”

In the case of one order, we both ordered a box of WoW cards. I received my box, and my room mate received 1 pack. We both paid for a box, and all SKU numbers were the same. He was told “Too bad” more or less.

So buyer beware on this one.
