UkCostco Welcomes a New Distribution Warehouse in Wayne, NJ
On Thursday, October 23, 2014, Costco Wholesale Corporation opened the doors on its new retail warehouse and fuel station in Wayne, New Jersey. The 159,149 s.f. distribution center is a replacement warehouse for one of Costco’s oldest locations, which is across the street from the new facility. According to reports, plans for the old facility are in motion for further development from other retailers.
On Thursday, October 23, 2014, Costco Wholesale Corporation opened the doors on its new retail warehouse and fuel station in Wayne, New Jersey. The 159,149 s.f. distribution center is a replacement warehouse for one of Costco’s oldest locations, which is across the street from the new facility. According to reports, plans for the old facility are in motion for further development from other retailers.
Costco selected Gray Construction to conduct construction management services on this facility, the eighth Costco project to date in which the companies have been partners. Construction began in late June and was completed some four months later.
Costco currently operates 665 warehouses, including 470 in the United States and Puerto Rico. The company plans to open up another seven before the end of the 2014 calendar year.
Gray Construction, a nationally ranked engineering, architecture and construction firm, has over 54 years of experience in manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, distribution, hospitality and retail facility construction. Currently, Gray has several large projects that are underway or recently completed including: a Michelin Earthmover tire manufacturing plant in Anderson, S.C.; an Ascena distribution facility in Pataskala, Ohio; a Roxul, Inc. manufacturing facility in Byhalia, Miss.; a manufacturing plant for ZF Transmissions in Gray Court, S.C.; a Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Ky.; a Walmart Supercenter expansion in Bakersfield, Calif.; and multiple projects for Old Navy.

I often shop here for my organic fruit. It saves so much money! It’s hard to find clean grass fed butter at a fair price. Costco carries this butter at the best price I could find. Whenever I.
Worst service. Went to get my tires checked and rotated and they damaged my rims. Had to talk to a manager and fill out a report. Corporate got involved and only offered partial resolution. Will.
The return line is out the door. the registers are barely manned, and this is a highly dense shopping center. They just keep packing people in like sardines. Only plus is they sell alcohol but.
I have been trying to buy jarbergs sliced light swiss cheese packages for the last 3 weeks and they’re all gone when I get to the store. They should double or triple the supply of this cheese. I.
We’ve been coming to this Costco location for a while because of their convenience in location and options. There is plenty of parking depending the day and time you go! I like this location.
