Sailor Moon Traiding Cards

Sailor Moon Collectible Card Game

The Sailor Moon Collectible Card Game (also known as Sailor Moon CCG) was a role-playing game (RPG) card game released in 2000, created by Mark C. MacKinnon for Guardians of Order, in association with Dart Flipcards. This first initial release was known as the “Premiere Edition” set.

The Premiere deck contained 160 cards, and a Past & Future expansion pack was released in 2001 with a 70 card deck. Along with the Past & Future deck, Dart also included a reprint of the Premiere Edition called the “Unlimited Base set”, which were the same 150 regular cards from the first set, but with the “Premiere Edition” logo swapped out for the Japanese Sailor Moon logo.

An RPG & Resource Book was also released for the game, along with a volume 1 of The Complete Book of Yoma.

Notes [ ]

  • Some card names vary in form and spellings seen in the Sailor Moon CCG Rule Book and Resource Book. For example, the cards use “Melvin Gurio” (Gurio is his first name in the Japanese version), while the Resource Book uses Umino (which is his Japanese family name). Also, the cards use “Molly Osaka”, but in the show, her family name had been known to be “Baker”. Other inconsistencies such as the Cardian Faraion/Falaion/Falion, and Yoma Papion/Papillon.
