​Used Vehicle Auctions

Used Commonwealth fleet vehicle auctions are open to members of the general public, including dealers. Attendance at the auction is limited to those who are at least 18 years of age. Please, no pets. Additional information including payment options can be found by reading the auction policies or calling (717) 469-7900 Mon – Fri 9am – 4pm

Location

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania used vehicle auctions are conducted at the Manheim Keystone Pennsylvania Auto Auction located at 488 Firehouse Road, Grantville, PA 17028 (Interstate #81, Exit-80 Hershey/Grantville).

If using GPS – Please use 411 Firehouse Road.

Date and Time

Auctions begin at 10:00 A.M. Auctions may be canceled at the Director of the Bureau of Vehicle Management’s discretion. Prospective buyers should register from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday before the sale. There is no registration on sale day. All vehicles will be released to the successful bidder by assigned registration numbers. Upcoming Auction Sale listings for the future sales are posted as they become available. Tenative 2025 auction dates are listed below.

Automotive Service Providers

All new and existing dealerships, franchises, and independent garages wishing to perform maintenance or repairs on Commonwealth vehicles must accept the published rate schedules and submit Certificates of Insurance each fiscal year and prior to beginning work. The Commonwealth’s fiscal year runs from July to June. The current contract is effective through June 30, 2022.

Providers wanting to participate in the Commonwealth’s Automotive Services program can complete the application process here.

Additional Information:

  • Must be 18 years or older to enter and have a valid driver’s license or valid state identification card with date of birth.

No pets allowed (except guide dogs).

No sandals or open toe shoes allowed.

Attendance and viewing are now FREE .

All participants are required to pre-register to participate in the bidding process.

If you wish to bid on a vehicle you must register; only 1 bidder number per person or commercial account may be used per sale.

The winning bidder will be required to pay a $35 bidder fee . This fee will not apply to the price of auction vehicle(s) purchased.

No admittance after 9:50 a.m.

Forms of payment accepted: cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, or debit cards from the U.S.A. (No checks accepted). Accepted from registered bidder only.

Purchased vehicle(s) must be paid for by 4:00 p.m. on day of sale.

Purchased vehicle(s) must be removed from City premises by a tow truck by 5:00 p.m. on day of sale.

Vehicles with keys will be assessed a non-optional $43.00 key fee charge to the final cost of each vehicle purchased. See Towing Fees Charges page for fee details.

Property in vehicles belongs to the City of Long Beach. Anyone taking property from vehicles will be subject to search and prosecuted.

The City of Long Beach prohibits the use of video or still photography while in this facility unless specifically authorized by City management.
